  • Fulham 'keeping tabs on AZ Alkmaar's Vangelis Pavlidis'

Fulham are reportedly interested in signing AZ Alkmaar striker Vangelis Pavlidis.

Marco Silva is seemingly keen to strengthen his forward options despite Raul Jimenez's recent spell of goalscoring form.

Jimenez, who arrived from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer, has scored five goals in his last seven Premier League games after failing to find the net in his first 10 top-flight outings as a Fulham player.

While the Mexican may be enjoying a purple patch in front of goal, Fulham are still searching for a long-term replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic, who left the club for the Saudi Pro League in the summer transfer window.

Spurs 'set to rival Man United, Liverpool for Hayden Hackney'

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to rival Manchester United and Liverpool for the signature of Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney.

The 21-year-old joined Boro's academy at Under-10s level and worked his way through the club's youth ranks before making his senior debut in January 2021.

Hackney has since made 63 first-team appearances for Michael Carrick's side across all competitions, including 21 starts, primarily as a defensive midfielder, in the Championship this season.

The Redcar-born youngster scored his second goal of the season and his first in the EFL Cup to help Boro claim a slender 1-0 home victory over Chelsea in the first leg of their semi-final clash on Tuesday.

Spurs 'to sign new midfielder if Hojbjerg leaves in January'

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly prioritise the addition of a new midfielder if Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg leaves the club in January.

The 28-year-old is facing an uncertain future in North London having fallen down the pecking order under manager Ange Postecoglou.

Hojbjerg has started just five of his 21 appearances for Spurs in all competitions so far this season, including only four starts in 15 Premier League outings.

Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma have been favoured in centre-midfield by Postecoglou, while the return of Rodrigo Bentancur from injury and the renaissance of Giovani Lo Celso in recent weeks has also hindered Hojbjerg's first-team minutes.

Nasser Al Khelaifi: 'PSG is the best club for Kylian Mbappe'

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al Khelaifi has expressed his desire to keep hold of star forward Kylian Mbappe amid reported interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool.

The 25-year-old has been continuously linked with a exit from the Parc des Princes for the past few seasons and he still faces an uncertain future at the club, with his current contract due to expire in June.

Having now entered the final six months of his deal with the Ligue 1 champions, Mbappe is free to negotiate pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs about a possible free transfer this summer.

Real Madrid are believed to still be at the front of the queue for Mbappe's signature having previously pushed to sign the Frenchman in multiple transfer windows over the last couple of years.

    Partick Thistle sign Daniel O'Reilly

"We're delighted to pick up a player of such quality in the notoriously difficult January transfer window. He is proven at this level and adds real quality to our squad," said manager Kris Doolan.

"Getting Daniel tied down on an 18 month contract is fantastic for us as we look to build for the end of the current campaign and into the next.

"We identified that we needed defensive cover as Nathan McGinley went back to Motherwell following his loan spell, and to be able to get Daniel in the building so quickly shows our ambition to challenge at the top end of the table.

"As a team who aim to score as many goals as we can, Daniel adds quality in both boxes, having already scored at against us this season, and twice last season.

"It has been as busy month already for us with plenty of comings and goings, as well as two matches. Daniel adds strength to our defensive options as we head into a tough run of fixtures."

Stockport sign Odin Bailey on permanent deal

"It's great to welcome Odin back as a Stockport County player on a permanent basis," said manager Dave Challinor.

"He's had such a positive influence on the group during his loan, he's had a really enjoyable experience and it was everyone's ambition to be able to make this happen.

"The continuity that this will provide to our team will be vital and I'm sure from a supporters' perspective, everyone will be delighted to see him remain with us."

Director of football Simon Wilson added: "Clearly it's been no secret this is a deal all parties were keen to get done and thankfully over the last 48 hours we were able to get there.

"I'd firstly like to thank Salford for their co-operation over the weekend, especially given their recent managerial change. Secondly, a big thanks to Odin for staying professional throughout this time. The life of a player isn't always straightforward! But his standards never dipped.

"It's with great delight that Odin is now a permanent member of our squad and our journey together continues. Hopefully in the coming years we can realise our shared ambitions."

Spurs complete Timo Werner loan signing

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig for the remainder of the season.

The deal contains an option for Tottenham to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign.

The 27-year-old arrives in North London having fallen down the pecking order at Leipzig this term, making just eight Bundesliga appearances, with only two of those coming from the start.

Across all competitions, the forward has two goals in 14 outings in 2023-24.

Sancho 'among five players Man United could loan out in January'

Manchester United have reportedly told five players that they can depart Old Trafford on loan this month, including the excluded Jadon Sancho.

A myriad of reports have stated that Sancho will rejoin his former club Borussia Dortmund on a straight six-month loan deal in the coming days.

The details of the deal are not yet clear though, but it is expected that Man United will still pay some of his wages, and that there will not be an option or an obligation to buy in the summer.

Sancho publicly fell out with United manager Erik ten Hag earlier this season, after the two exchanged blows regarding the player's performance levels in training.

Arsenal, Aston Villa to battle for Roma's Leonardo Spinazzola?

Arsenal and Aston Villa have reportedly joined the race to sign Roma left-back Leonardo Spinazzola in January.

The 30-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and Roma could decide to cash in on the player now, with a contract renewal looking unlikely.

Spinazzola has fallen a long way down the pecking order at the Stadio Olimpico under Jose Mourinho, having never truly recovered from an Achilles tendon rupture suffered at Euro 2020 which kept him sidelined for over nine months.

Young Nicola Zalewski has taken on the role as first-choice left wing-back at Roma, with Stephan El Shaarawy even being preferred in an unfamiliar role at times over Spinazzola.

Tottenham midfielder Matthew Craig loaned to Doncaster Rovers

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Matthew Craig has joined Doncaster Rovers on loan for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.

The 20-year-old was part of the Watford youth academy before joining Spurs as an Under-12s player, and he signed his first professional deal with the Lilywhites in the summer of 2021.

Last year, Craig's terms were extended until the end of the 2025-26 season on account of his continued progression at youth level, and he made his first-team debut on the final day of the 2022-23 Premier League campaign, coming off the bench in a 4-1 win over Leeds United.

The 2003-born midfielder has not made another first-team appearance since, but he has worn the captain's armband during Tottenham Under-21s' perfect start to their Premier League 2 season and also played the full 90 in a 5-0 EFL Trophy win over Colchester United.

Chelsea 'ready to consider signing new left-back'

Chelsea are reportedly weighing up whether to sign a new left-back before the end of the January transfer window.

The Blues are currently well stocked for that position which is currently held by Levi Colwill, who has been used there for much of the campaign.

Ben Chilwell will also come back into contention in the coming weeks, providing that he is able to prove his fitness after a long-term hamstring injury.

With Malo Gusto also capable of deputising when required, there is theoretically no rush, but Chelsea are about to lose another option for that role.

Diaz, Gakpo 'facing uncertain futures at Liverpool'

Liverpool are reportedly contemplating parting ways with Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo in the future.

The pair are currently featuring in an attack that has helped Liverpool sit at the top of the Premier League table and remain active in three cup competitions.

With Mohamed Salah currently at the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt and youngster Ben Doak injured in the long term, they can expect to be named in Jurgen Klopp's starting XIs on a regular basis.

Nevertheless, neither player can claim to have produced their best form during the current campaign, only producing moments of quality rather than over a sustained period.

Fiorentina 'showing interest in Tottenham's Bryan Gil'

Fiorentina are reportedly contemplating making an approach for Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil.

Having lost out to West Ham United in the Europa Conference League final in 2022-23, there was potential for a hangover effect at I Viola.

However, Fiorentina have responded with some of their best results in Serie A for some time, currently occupying fourth position in the standings after 19 games.

While chasing down the 15-point gap to leaders Inter Milan is realistically out of the question, ending a 15-year absence from the Champions League is not.

Man City 'to rival Arsenal for Wolves winger Pedro Neto'

The 23-year-old has scored 12 goals and registered 22 assists in 122 appearances for the West Midlands club across all competitions since moving to Molineux from Lazio in the summer of 2019.

Neto made a bright start to the current campaign, scoring once and providing seven assists in 10 Premier League games before picking up a hamstring injury in October.

The Portuguese has since returned to full fitness, much to the delight of head coach Gary O'Neil who regards the winger as an integral first-team player going forward.

Wolves midfielder Luke Cundle joins Stoke after returning from Plymouth

"Stoke City is a massive club, it's a new chapter for me and I'm delighted to be here," he told the club website.

"I know the boss and his staff well having worked with them previously. I really like the ideas he puts across and how he gets his teams to play.

"He plays attacking, high energy football on the front foot, where everybody runs and passes forward, and that suits my game. I'm looking forward to getting going and letting my football do the talking."

Technical director Ricky Martin added: "Having played under Steven during the first half of this season at Plymouth, Luke is already well versed in the style of play we are looking to implement at Stoke City.

"Steven sees Luke as one of the brightest young talents around and as someone whose drive and personality will have a positive impact on our group.

"We have strong connections with Wolverhampton Wanderers, they believe Luke's development will be well served with us, and we are equally excited by what he can bring to our side between now and the end of the season."

Man United 'lining up January move for Lille's Jonathan David'

Manchester United are reportedly 'very interested' in bringing Lille forward Jonathan David to Old Trafford before the January transfer window closes for business.

Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag has suggested that his side could be active before the end of the month, with a new striker believed to be on his wishlist.

Rasmus Hojlund, Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes are the team's joint-leading goalscorers in all competitions this season with six, while McTominay has the most in the Premier League this term with five.

Hojlund scored his first goal in England's top flight against Aston Villa on Boxing Day, but the Denmark international lacks support in the final third, with Anthony Martial potentially being allowed to leave the club before the end of the January market.

Arsenal 'set Nketiah asking price amid Crystal Palace interest'

Arsenal will reportedly demand a fee of £30m to sell Crystal Palace-linked Eddie Nketiah in the January transfer window.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta recently admitted that the addition of a new striker this month "does not look realistic" at present, but that has not stopped the rumour mill linking Nketiah with a possible exit from the Emirates Stadium.

The 24-year-old has spent the last nine years with Arsenal since leaving Chelsea's academy in 2015 and he has made a total of 158 appearances across all competitions, scoring 38 goals and providing nine assists.

However, Nketiah has largely been forced to play second fiddle to Gabriel Jesus under Arteta, starting only 13 of his 27 outings so far this season.

Ten Hag hints Man United could be active before January window closes

Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has refused to rule out his club making new signings before the January transfer window closes for business.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe's arrival as a minority shareholder at Old Trafford is not expected to be ratified until the start of February, so the 71-year-old will not have a major impact on the club's plans for the winter market, although he must be kept informed of any developments that are occurring on that front.

Man United are currently focusing on outgoings, with Donny van de Beek's loan switch to Eintracht Frankfurt already being confirmed, while Jadon Sancho and Hannibal Mejbri are also set to depart on short-term deals.

Sancho is expected to return to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of the campaign, while Everton and Sevilla are seemingly going head-to-head for the loan signature of Hannibal.

However, Frimpong continues to be linked with a move away from the BayArena, with Manchester United believed to be still hold an interest in the former Manchester City youngster.

Arsenal and Liverpool have also been credited with an interest, with a report last month claiming that both Premier League clubs have sent scouts to watch the Netherlands international.

Transfer rumours: Henderson to Bayern, Mengi to Fulham, Alzate to Rangers

Jordan Henderson has reportedly been offered to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, with the 33-year-old looking for a move away from Al Ettifaq this month.

The England international joined the Saudi Pro League in the summer transfer window from Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool for £12m, in what turned out to be a highly-controversial switch.

Since landing in the Middle East, Henderson has featured in 17 league matches for Steven Gerrard's side, providing four assists but failing to register a goal from the engine room.

Despite playing his football outside of Europe, the midfielder has continued to be selected in England squads by Gareth Southgate, starting the 2-0 success over Malta in Euro qualifying on November 17.

Werner had been linked with a possible move to Manchester United, but the former Chelsea forward appears to be edging close to joining London rivals Spurs.

According to the Evening Standard, Tottenham are poised to announce the loan signing of Werner as soon as he has completed a medical on Tuesday.

Jaros is still waiting to make his first-team debut for the Reds, but he made the bench in three of their Europa League group-stage games this season and has also been an unused substitute in the 2020-21 Champions League and 2019-20 FA Cup.

Since arriving at Anfield, Jaros has already been sent out on loan three times, spending most of 2021 with Irish outfit St Patrick's Athletic, who signed fellow Liverpool goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga on a short-term deal last week.

Maatsen 'to sign new Chelsea deal ahead of Dortmund loan'

Ian Maatsen has reportedly agreed to extend his contract at Chelsea ahead of a loan switch to Borussia Dortmund.

During the summer, Maatsen rejected opportunities to depart Stamford Bridge in an attempt to establish himself as a first-team player under Mauricio Pochettino.

However, the Netherlands Under-21 international has been kept on the periphery of the senior squad, making just three starts and 12 substitute outings in all competitions.

As a result, it has been reported for a number of weeks that Chelsea are prepared to part ways with Maatsen during the January transfer window as they bid to boost their position with FFP.

West Ham 'step up pursuit of Leeds attacker Wilfried Gnonto'

West Ham United have reportedly contacted Leeds United over a potential deal to sign attacker Wilfried Gnonto.

The 20-year-old was keen to force an exit from Elland Road last summer following the club's relegation from the Premier League, but a transfer ultimately failed to materialise.

Gnonto had previously made a notable impression in the Leeds first team following his arrival from FC Zurich in June 2022, contributing with four goals and four assists in 28 appearances across all competitions last season.

The Italy international has since struggled to make his mark under new manager Daniel Farke, as he has only chipped in with one goal and one assist in seven starts and 13 substitute outings in the Championship this term.

Barco, a skillful, attack-minded left-back who can also operate as a left-winger, established himself as a first-team regular in the 2023 campaign, contributing with one goal and four assists in 32 matches across all competitions.

According to the Daily Record, Man United are in advanced talks with Queen's Park over a potential six-figure deal to sign McKenna, which could rise to a seven-figure fee with add-ons.

The teenager is also said to have attracted interest from Arsenal and Chelsea, while the shot-stopper has previously trained with Leicester City.

PSV 'make contact with Man United over Pellistri loan'

When United signed Pellistri from Penarol in 2020, much was made of the deal with the attacker expected to become a first-team player at Old Trafford in due course.

However, under different managers, the Uruguay international has rarely been provided with opportunities to impress, much of his stint at United being spent on loan at Alaves.

In the summer, the decision was made to keep the 22-year-old at the Theatre Of Dreams, with manager Erik ten Hag seemingly hoping to hand Pellistri more chances.

Having spent in excess of £1bn across the last three transfer windows, Chelsea are not short of options in the final third of the pitch.

However, for varying reasons, it has been consistently suggested that the Blues are in the market for a new attacking player during the January transfer window.
